Maxwell Hotel

The hotel is nicer than your average sterile chain hotel, has a bit of character to it. We had a lovely view of the city from our room. Though this can't be guaranteed it was a lovely bonus. The staff were helpful when we arrived advising of us where to park. Giving us a guide too the city and generally helpful in answering any questions we had. Breakfast was included which was nice. We had a nice breakfast that kept us going till lunch time at no extra cost which makes a change. Would happily stay here again.

I can not help but notice some negative comments about this hotel left on Booking.com and on Google Map before my trip. To be honest with you, when I booked the place, before my arrival, I was a bit worried ... (I am very PICKY about hotel location, so regardless of seeing some of their negative reviews, I still booked it, because its location is SIMPLY THE BEST that you can ever find in Istanbul on Booking.com!!!) BUT guess what, after I arrived there, ALL THE DOUBTs IN MY HEAD were ALL GONE... the room, the bed, the toilet, the shower room are BIG and CLEAN...the water 💧 was very strong, the air-conditioning worked perfectly The staff were ALL VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY!!! 👏 👍 (That includes Ali, Cuneyt, and another person, I forgot the name, sorry)... in addition, the cleaning ladies made the room VERY CLEAN, another thumb up. 👍

A gorgeous hotel that exceeds expectations in every way - The hotel is much better than it appears to be on Booking. - The room is amazing, it has a lot of stuff in it, a comfy bed, lots of natural light. - Everything is incredibly clean. - The location is superb, the hotel is like 2 min away from the main square. - The breakfast is truly amazing and diverse, and the dining room has a wonderful vibe.

initially i had some doubts about this hotel. After all, some reviews are not the best. However, I was very positively surprised. The hotel is located in the very center of the Taksim district, the clubs are literally 1-3 minutes away. Of course it's noisy all night long, but that will be the case in every hotel in this district, without exception. The hotel is not in the red light district - there used to be a brothel and a few prostitutes, but you can't see them now. Perhaps they are, but they do not hook and are not visible. There were more of them a few months ago. In addition, the area is very safe due to the large number of police, of which there are generally many in Istanbul due to the geopolitical situation. The service is very nice and very helpful.

actually we did not expect much of this hotel concerning the price however they surprised us significantly. location is perfect, we reached all the famous places quite easily, the breakfast was amazing for this price and the staff are seriously helpful. this place really deserves a 10!
